Every year Since 1997, the 700 voluntary workers of the Artois Culture Nature association have created and presented a Sound and Light Show which chronicles the history of the Arras area through different scenes. Initially called « the Chaussée Brunehaut over the Centuries » then « Dreams and Stories in Artois », the shows were more and more successful locally and internationally. Their success kept increasing, which incited the association to be more and more ambitious and creative to be able to present a show that kept being innovative (technically, musically and visually).
In 2018, in order to boost the volunteers’ involvement, as well as to become a permanent actor in the cultural field in the Hauts de France, a project for a new show came to life. Out of the desire for renewal and thanks to everybody’s involvement The Feeries Nocturnes or Sparkling Night show at Saint Laurent Blangy and its « Glittering fragments of History » were born.
